JioCinema Premium annual plan launched for Rs 299

Jio has announced the annual plan for JioCinema Premium. The annual plan of the app offers ad-free movies and shows with support for up to 4k video quality. The yearly plan comes a few weeks after Jio unveiled the premium monthly plan for JioCinema. Let’s look at the pricing and all the available benefits.

JioCinema Premium annual plan details

JioCinema has finally launched the much-awaited yearly plan for JioCinema Premium. The premium annual subscription costs Rs 299, which is an introductory offer. Subscribers of the plan get to watch ad-free movies and shows, except sports and live content. Here are all the benefits of JioCinema Premium.

— Ad-free video streaming (but not for sports and live content)

— Up to 4K resolution support.

— All premium content from HBO, Peacock, Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal Pictures, and others.

— Anime content like Pokemon series, Demon Slayer, and others.

— Streaming of 1 device at a time

— Unlimited downloads to watch content offline.

It is worth noting that JioCinema’s Premium annual plan is currently only available for individuals. There’s no yearly family premium annual plan available. However, we expect that to be added soon.

Jio announced the ad-free monthly premium plan a few weeks back. The monthly plan of the JioCinema Premium costs Rs 29, which is again an introductory price. If you have subscribed to the monthly premium plan, you can subscribe to the yearly plan by getting the remaining current plan amount as a discount, as shown in the image above. Other than this, there’s a monthly family plan of JioCinema Premium that costs Rs 89. Subscribers of the family plan get all the same benefits as the individual monthly plan. Additionally, up to four devices can stream movies and shows at the same time.

Currently, JioCinema users can watch IPL for free of cost on mobile, laptop, and TV.

In other news about Jio, the company recently launched a new broadband plan in the country. The Rs 888 JioFiber and JioAirFiber plan offers free Netflix Basic. Other than Netflix, users also get several other OTT apps support such as Amazon Prime, Sony Liv, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Discovery+, and others.

Other than the OTT benefits, subscribers of the Rs 888 plan get unlimited Internet with a speed of 30mbps. It has an FUP of 1000GB for JioAir Fiber and 3000GB for JioFiber. Subscribers also get support for unlimited voice calls through the Internet.
