Honor just dropped the new Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro globally. These smartphones pack serious power and bring some serious heat to the mid to high end smartphone segment. The Honor 400 has a 6.55 inch flat OLED screen with a sharp 1264×2736 resolution. It also features a 120Hz refresh rate that goes up to 5000 nits peak HDR brightness. On the other hand the Honor 400 Pro steps up the game with a bigger 6.7 inch quad-curved OLED panel. The Pro also gets a higher quality display at 2800×1280 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones look sleek and lightweight. The Honor 400 weighs 184g and has a slim 7.3mm profile, while the 400 Pro is a bit thicker at 8.1mm and 205g. They also pack in IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance for added durability.
Under the hood, the Honor 400 runs Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Pro model raises the bar with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has the same RAM and storage. Both the phones run Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0, promising six years of Android and security updates. Plus, they come loaded with AI tricks like AI Summary, AI Subtitles, Magic Portal, and Deepfake Detection.
On the camera side, both phones sport a massive 200MP main camera with optical + electronic image stabilisation. The Honor 400 gets a 12MP ultra-wide with 112° field of view and macro mode. The Pro steps it up in the camera department with a 50MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. On the front side, both phones are equally impressive at 50MP with 4K video capture. The camera also has all AI features like: AI Eraser, AI Outpainting, Remove Reflection, and image to video generation powered by Google Cloud’s Veo model.
Both the phones come with big batteries and great charging speeds. The phones get a solid 5300mAh silicon carbon battery. The standard Honor 400 supports 66W fast charging and hits 44% charge in just 15 minutes. The 400 Pro takes things up a notch with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Honor 400 starts at £399.99(approx. Rs 46,012.36) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and goes up to 12GB + 512GB model for £449(approx. Rs 51,780). On the other hand the Pro variant is available in a single configuration of 12GB + 512GB which is priced at £699.99(approx. Rs 80,598).
