Google Pixel Watch 3, Buds Pro 2, launched alongside Pixel 9 series

Apart from the Google Pixel 9 series launch in the Made by Google event, the tech pioneers also introduced the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Watch 3. As claimed by Google, the Pixel Buds 2 are the most comfortable earbuds ever designed by Google. That’s not it, they are also powered by Gemini Live. Google Pixel Watch 3 is available in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm. The watch comes with an Actua AMOLED display protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with up to 2000 nits of peak brightness. In terms of connectivity, the watch offers Ultra-Wideband, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, and NFC. Both the sizes of Google Pixel watches are compatible with devices running on Android 10.0 or above. The 41mm variant of the same has two band options including small fits (130-175mm) and large fits (165-210mm).

Similarly, the 45mm variant also has two options – small fits (150-185mm) and large fits (165-215mm). The smaller variant is powered by a 307mAh battery with up to 24 hours of runtime and an always-on display. It will get charged from zero to 100% in 60 minutes as per Google. The bigger variant has a 420mAh battery with a similar battery life as the smaller variant.

The charging time for the bigger variant is around 80 minutes, from zero to 100%. Both the variants run on Qualcomm SW5100 chipset and are based on Wear OS 5.0. They both include 2GB SDRAM paired with 32GB eMMC flash. Other features include a built-in microphone, built-in speaker, side button, haptic crown, premium haptics, gyroscope, electrical sensors, skin temperature sensor, heart rate sensor, etc. The Google Pixel Watch 3 will be available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 36,990.

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 has four different color variants – Porcelain, Wintergreen, Peony, and Hazel. They are sweat and water resistant with the buds carrying IP54 certification and the case carrying IPX4 certification.

They are powered by a Tensor A1 processor and have 11mm dynamic drivers. Not only this, but the earbuds also sport Active Noise Cancellation mode, transparency mode, active in-ear pressure relief, and conversation detection. Other features include a voice accelerometer, capacitive touch for music, and calls, and voice assistant controls.

As claimed by Google, the buds can offer 12 hours of listening time individually and 48 hours with the case. With active ANC, the time drops down to 8 hours for the buds and 30 hours for the case. In a five-minute charge, the buds can go on for 1.5 hours straight. Google has also offered Gemini Live support with the buds and you don’t need to take your phone out of your pocket to do that. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be available in India for Rs 22,990.
