Apple always keeps its fans excited, and the latest buzz suggests that the tech giant is already working on something new. It seems Apple is working on its upcoming AirPods and an upgraded AirPods Pro. To recall, the company recently unveiled its AirPods Pro 3, powered by the H2 chipset. Now, Apple is reported to be working on an upgraded AirPods Pro, a new AirPods 5, and a new rumored chipset called H3.
Apple is expected to be working on its upcoming AirPods Pro, powered by the fast-processing H3 chipset. The AirPods are expected to deliver lower audio latency and improved sound clarity. One of the most striking features that might be included in the AirPods Pro is the integrated IR cameras. This feature will open the doors to new functions like gesture-based controls and enhanced tracking.
Although Apple hasn’t confirmed any launch date for its upcoming AirPods Pro, the combination of this hardware and tech suggests that we could see a major upgrade in the AirPods Pro as compared to the current model.
Other than the Pro model, Apple is reportedly also working on the AirPods 5, successor to the AirPods 4 series. This time, the tech giant might not include the heart rate sensor in its upcoming AirPods 5. Nevertheless, it might bring some other upgrades, such as temperature tracking and AI-driven features. It is expected to offer contextual audio improvements and will be able to interact more intelligently.
As per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is also working on a new chipset, dubbed H3, for its future pairs of AirPods. The exact launch timeline is not revealed, but the new chipset could provide better wireless performance, richer sound quality, and AI-integrated features.
