Apple’s base iPad variant is due this year and the fans are waiting for the same from a long time now. However, latest reports related to the same suggest something positive is brewing up. A report published by 9to5Mac based on an anonymous X source, Apple could bring the iPad 11 in the first half of 2025. Chances are that the iPad 11 will make a debut in the market at the same time when iPadOS 18.3 will be dropped for the masses.
Leaks and rumours related to the same suggest that the upcoming iPad by Apple will ship with the pre-installed update. Considering the previous trends, Apple has mostly launched the XX.3 update in the month of January so if the report holds any truth then the iPad could see the light in the month of January itself.
In the past, reports shared by Bloomberg’s Mark Gunman mentioned that Apple is planning to launch the iPad 11 in Spring 2025 which means somewhere around March. And the latest rumours suggest an earlier timeline. Now, it is almost certain that the device will reach the market in the or around the first quarter of 2025.
Talking about the rumors around the iPad 11 base variant, it is going to ship with the Cupertino giant’s first wireless model for managing WiFi and 5G services. Speculations are that it will run on the A17 Pro processor. One of the most intriguing rumors about the device is that it could become the cheapest device in the company’s portfolio with Apple Intelligence features. None of the other details regarding the device have been revealed yet. We expect to get to know more once Apple officially announces its release date.
