Xiaomi 17 Ultra Specifications Tipped: Expected to Launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset for Flagship-Level Performance

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its next flagship series, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, featuring power-packed specifications and high-quality photography capabilities. Recent leaks reveal that the brand is planning to launch the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China as early as December 2025. To recall, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra impressed users with its camera capabilities, and the upcoming 17 Ultra is also expected to take imaging to the next level.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Expected Specifications

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The chipset will be built on the advanced 3nm process and will be responsible for delivering top-tier performance, an enhanced gaming experience, and AI-packed camera functions.

The device will be paired with high RAM and storage options and is expected to deliver a smooth and high-speed experience just like other devices in the Xiaomi 17 series.

Triple Rear Cameras

One of the significant upgrades that we could see in the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is its camera system, rumored to carry a triple-camera setup with a brand-new Leica coating. The camera might include a 50MP main camera with OVX10500U sensor, a 200MP telephoto lens with S5KHPE sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera using OV50M or S5KJN5 sensors.

As per reports, the camera sensors in Xiaomi 17 Ultra are expected to reduce chromatic aberration, minimize reflections, and enhance color accuracy. In addition, it will deliver sharp and high-fidelity images.

Front Camera

Talking about the front camera, the upcoming device may pack a 50MP OV50M selfie camera. The reports also indicate that the brand could introduce its flagship smartphone with a dedicated photography kit.
