Samsung continues to introduce more foldable mobile phones, reportedly developing two variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and gaining a tri-fold model. Insiders claimed that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is codenamed B7, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 – Q7 are in the works. As per reports, the Q7M model looks promising, suggesting that it could feature a new tri-fold mechanism. Rumors from South Korea suggest some new Samsung folding mechanisms with the device having three panels with two hinges. This new variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may be simply a Special Edition version or the so-long-rumored Samsung three-folding smartphone. news Also Read: 8 Best Samsung Smartphone Deals To Consider During Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale

Galaxy Z Fold 7 Specifications(Expected)

However, there is no official information on what chipset the company would be using in the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 7, but reportedly, it could be using Qualcomm’s newest flagship chip. Reports say that the Z Fold 7 will be fitted with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip: it’s going to upgrade the performance and energy efficiency, expand the multitasking possibilities, and make the battery life of the fold longer.

Some rumor mills also hint that the Q7M will also get some camera bumps, but that part remains a mystery for now. However, if adapted to the newer Special Edition Fold, it probably features the more premium 200MP sensor that no doubt enhances the camera and user experience.

Samsung recently launched a Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in South Korea. This one is thinner and lighter than the usual Galaxy Z Fold 6 but not that different on the inside. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is available with a price tag of KRW 2,789,600, approximately Rs. 1,70,000 for 16GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
