After months of leaks and rumours, Samsung is all set to expand it M-series with the launch of the Galaxy M17 5G in India, confirmed for October 10. This comes after the launch of the Galaxy A17 5G back in August. Ahead of the launch, Samsung has revealed the design and key details of the Galaxy M17 5G. However, there is no official word on the Galaxy F17 5G launch, which has been in the rumours along with the M17 5G. In the meantime, here is everything that you need to know about the upcoming Galaxy M17 5G.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G Design

The latest teaser of the Galaxy M17 5G has revealed that the phone will feature a vertical camera island holding a triple camera setup. It is confirmed to get an IP54 rating against dust and water splash. Moreover, it is said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. On the front, the display seems to have a dew-drop camera notch for the selfie camera.

Based on the previous leaks and rumours, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is said to feature a 6.7-inch super AMOLED display and could be 7.5mm thick. Under the hood, the Galaxy M17 5G is tipped to pack the Exynos 1330 chipset.

For photography, it is confirmed to feature a 50MP main camera along with optical image stabilisation, which is important for steady photos and videos. Moreover, it will get a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it will feature a 13MP selfie camera. The teaser has also confirmed that the Galaxy M17 5G will get AI features, such as Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live.
