Samsung Galaxy M16, Galaxy M06 launched in India; Check price and specs

Samsung has finally released the Galaxy M16 and Galaxy M06 in India. Both smartphone belong to the affordable category – the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G is available at a starting price of Rs 9,499 and the Galaxy M16 is priced at Rs 11,499.

The devices are available for purchase on Amazon India and the official Samsung Store. And yes, Samsung has said that the mentioned ones are introductory prices and Samsung can bump it anytime. The Galaxy M16 will go on sale.

The Samsung Galaxy M16 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor and runs on the Samsung One UI 7 with six years of upgrades and security.

The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter, 5MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. It houses a 5000mAh battery along with 25W wired fast charging support. The handset also carries IP54 certification for dust and water resistance. For security purposes, the device gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

Coming to the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G, it brings a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is also powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor along with operating on the One UI 7 based on the Android 15 operating system.

The smartphone gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For the sake of selfies and video calls, it gets an 8MP selfie shooter as well. It packs a 5000mAh battery along with 25W wired fast charging support. Other features include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well.
