
Realme GT 6T India launch: Realme launched the Realme GT 6T smartphone in India. This new smartphone is a part of the company’s GT series devices, which include the Realme GT 2, the Realme GT Neo 3, the Realme GT Neo 3T, the Realme GT 2 Pro, and the Realme GT Neo 2 to name a few. The newly launched Realme GT 6T comes with top-of-the-line features such as a 5,500mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and a 50MP camera with Sony LYT sensor. It competes with the likes on the Nothing Phone 2a and the OnePlus Nord CE 4 in the market.

The Realme GT 6T comes in two colour variants — Fluid Silver and Razor Green. Users will be able to pick from four variants. The 8GB+128GB costs Rs 30,999, while the 8GB+256GB costs Rs 32,999. Similarly, the 12GB+256GB variant costs Rs 35,999 and the 12GB+512GB variant costs Rs 39,999.
Realme is offering a bunch of discounts offers on the purchase of the Realme GT 6T, which include an exchange bonus of Rs 2,000 and bank discount of Rs 4,000 on the purchases made using HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI cards. After these discounts, the 8GB+128GB variant of the device will be available for Rs 24,999, 8GB+256GB variant will be available for Rs 26,999, 12GB+256GB variant will be available for Rs 29,999 and the 12GB+512GB variant will be available for Rs 33,999.
The Realme GT 6T will go on sale at 12PM on May 29 via Amazon India, Realme.com and offline stores.
Realme GT 6T features a Nano Mirror design at the back with mirror finish near the camera module and misty titanium metal diffuse reflection texture being used in the rest of the body. The company has also used high-grade stainless steel in the lens module for extra protection.
Coming to the specifications, the Realme sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, an adaptive screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 2500Hz, peak brightness of 6,000 nits and support for sunlight display and Dolby Vision. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 system-on-chip (SoC) that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. It also comes with the Iceberg Vapor Cooling System that has a nine-layer cooling system for enhanced gaming performance. It is backed by Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and the company has promised to provide three years of OS updates and four years of security updates.
Talking about the cameras, the Realme GT 6T comes with a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary lens that is backed by the Sony Lytia 600 sensor and features support for optical image stablisation technology, and a 8MP wide-angle lens that is backed by the Sony IMX 355 sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP camera that is backed by the Sony IMX615 sensor.
On the battery front, the Realme GT 6T is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for a 120W GaN charger that ships inside the box. Additional features include Independent Privacy Security Chip for added security, dual stereo speakers, smart infrared remote and IP65 dust and water-resistant coating to name a few.
