Realme is gearing up to expand its budget lineup in India once again. The company has officially confirmed that its next C-series smartphone, the Realme C85 5G, will make its India debut on November 28. A new microsite on Flipkart has gone live, revealing a bunch of features even before the launch – and it looks like Realme is positioning this as a battery-first, durability-focused phone for everyday users. The launch is set for November 28, and the Realme C85 5G will be available via Flipkart and the Realme India online store. The teasers strongly hint that Realme is targeting buyers who want long battery life, rugged durability, and essential 5G performance without spending too much.
One of the biggest highlights of the C85 5G is its massive 7,000mAh battery – something we rarely see in this price segment. According to Realme, it will offer 22 hours of video playback, 50 hours of calling, 145 hours of music playback, 9 hours of standby on just 1% battery, and 40 minutes of calling on 1%. You get 45W wired fast charging, which promises 1.5 hours of usage with a 5-minute charge, 6.5W reverse charging to power other devices
The C85 5G comes with an IP69 rating (dust, water and high-temperature resistance), and protection against 36 different types of liquids. It also gets MIL-STD 810H military-grade shock resistance, which is said to survive 2-metre drops and withstand temperatures up to 85°C.
While the exact size isn’t confirmed on Flipkart yet, Realme says the C85 is expected to feature up to 144Hz refresh rate (as seen on the Vietnam variant), 1,200 nits peak brightness for outdoor visibility. In photography, the C85 is set 50MP Sony AI camera, alongside an AI-powered image editor called AI Edit Genie, which can clean up images with one tap.
Under the hood, the phone is widely expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, the same configuration launched in Vietnam. However, the final specifications and price will be confirmed on the day of launch.
