POCO C85 5G Key Specs Confirmed Ahead Of December 9 Launch In India: All Details

POCO is gearing up to launch its next budget-focused smartphone, the POCO C85 5G, in India on December 9. Ahead of the launch, the company has officially confirmed key display details of the upcoming handset. POCO has also gone live with a dedicated Flipkart microsite, confirming online availability, colour options, and some additional hardware highlights. POCO C85 5G Specifications, Features

POCO has confirmed on X that the C85 5G will come with a 6.9-inch display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The company says the screen can reach up to 810 nits of peak brightness.

The Flipkart listing also highlights that the display carries TÜV certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian protection. These are meant to reduce strain during long viewing sessions. The phone is also getting a 200% Super Volume Mode for louder audio when you’re outside or in a noisy place.

At the front, the POCO C85 5G will have a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. POCO has confirmed that the device will be available in Mystic Purple, Spring Green, and Power Black colour options in India.

The POCO C85 5G is backed by a 6,000mAh battery. As per official claims, it can deliver over 29 hours of social media usage, more than 16 hours of Instagram Reels scrolling, over 106 hours of music playback, and around 23 hours of WhatsApp messaging.

The phone will support 33W wired fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging. POCO says the battery can charge from 1 percent to 50 percent in roughly 28 minutes with a compatible charger.

For photography, the POCO C85 5G is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP AI primary sensor. Reports suggest the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset clocked up to 2.2GHz. It is also expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box.
