OPPO Reno 15 Series May Include New ‘Mini’ Model: Specs And Features Leak

OPPO is preparing to refresh its Reno lineup in India later this year, and this time a compact model may be part of the mix. The Reno 15 series is expected to arrive before year-end, and alongside the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, a new Reno 15 Mini could make its debut. The launch follows closely after the Reno 14 lineup, showing OPPO isn’t slowing down between generation cycles. OPPO Reno 15 Mini Specifications (Expected)

As per a report from 91Mobiles, the Reno 15 Mini will serve as the smaller option in the series. It is expected to come with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, while the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro may feature 6.59-inch and 6.78-inch screens. All models are tipped to come with flat panels instead of curved displays. The phones may also offer metal frames and carry IP68 and IP69 ratings. The Reno 15 series is rumoured to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets. Early reports suggest that all three models could use the Dimensity 8450 processor, although some leaks hint that the Reno 15 Pro might get a more powerful Dimensity 9400 SoC. The standard Reno 15 is also tipped to pack a 6,000mAh battery, offering a capacity jump over the previous generation.

OPPO has focused heavily on camera performance in its Reno lineup, and the upcoming models seem no different. The Reno 15 Mini and Reno 15 are rumoured to share the same triple-camera setup on the back. This could include a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 main camera, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor. On the front, both devices may feature a 50MP selfie camera. Details about the Reno 15 Pro’s camera system remain limited for now.

OPPO Reno 15 Series Price in India, Launch Timeline (Expected)

The OPPO Reno 15 series is expected to launch in December in India. Price details aren’t confirmed yet, but the Reno 15 lineup is expected to be priced close to the Reno 14 series. For reference, the Reno 14 launched in India at Rs 39,999 and the Reno 14 Pro at Rs 49,999.
