Oppo is gearing up to launch its next flagship lineup, the Find X9 series, in China. The range is expected to include the standard Find X9 and Find X9 Pro initially, with an Ultra model possibly arriving later. In the latest teaser, Oppo’s Product Manager Zhou Yibao has confirmed some important details, including battery sizes, while new leaks have shed light on design and specifications.
According to Zhou, the Oppo Find X9 will feature a 7,025mAh “glacier” battery, while the more premium Find X9 Pro will pack a 7,500mAh unit. Both devices will support 80W wired fast charging, ensuring quicker top-ups despite the huge battery capacities. The models will also use cold carving technology and are confirmed to come in a titanium colour option.
Leaks suggest the standard Oppo Find X9 will be pretty sleek at just 7.9mm thick and weighing around 203g, while the Pro version will be a bit chunkier at 8.25mm and 224g. Both phones are expected to come with flat LTPO OLED displays and super-thin, uniform bezels on all four sides. The Find X9 could sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Oppo is also said to be adding a new anti-motion sickness mode, which should make long viewing sessions a lot more comfortable.
Under the hood, the Find X9 could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. Both handsets will run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16, which Oppo says includes native support for features found on rival devices. Interestingly, Oppo even demonstrated AirPods 4 working with the Find X9, highlighting its improved cross-device compatibility.
As with previous models, the Find X9 series will feature Hasselblad-tuned cameras, with a strong emphasis on video capabilities. Although full camera specifications haven’t been confirmed, Oppo has teased “significant improvements” in this department.
