OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite launched in India: Check price, specs, availability

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite India launch:  OnePlus hosted a special event today wherein it launched the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite smartphone. This new smartphone is a part of the company’s Nord series devices and it’s the ‘Lite’ version of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 that was launched in India in April this year at a starting price of Rs 24,999. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite comes with a bunch of top-of-the-line features such as a 50MP Sony Lytia camera and a 5500mAh battery with fast charging support.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite comes in two storage variants. The 8GB + 128GB is priced at Rs 20,999, while the 8GB + 256GB is priced at Rs 23,999. As a part of the launch offer, OnePlus is offering a discount on the purchase of the phone. Post this discount, the 128GB variant of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will be available for Rs 19,999, while 256GB variant will be available for Rs 22,999.

Interested buyers will be able to purchase the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite in Mega Blue, Super Silver and Ultra Orange colour variants. It will go on sale starting 12PM on June 27 via OnePlus Experience Store, Amazon India, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics and select offline stores. As a part of the first sale, OnePlus will be offering Jio benefits worth Rs 2,250 to the buyers.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers peak brightness of 2,100 nits and a variable screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to that, this phone features Aqua Touch function, which the company says improves touch accuracy when the screen is wet due to rain or sweat.

Coming to the internals, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G system-on-chip (SoC) that is coupled with the company’s Trinity Engine, which the company says provides uninterrupted connections, faster file sharing, stable gaming, and fast download speeds of up to 2.0 Gbps. In terms of storage, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite sports 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage space. This storage space can be expanded further up to 2TB using a microSD.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite runs Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. OnePlus says that OxygenOS 14 includes a Smart Cutout feature that can be used to quickly edit photos. It also supports multi-subject recognition, which enables each individual subject to recognise and extract even in group photos.

Coming to the cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite sports a dual camera setup at the back, which includes a 50MP lens with the Sony LYTIA 600 sensor and Optical Image Stabalisation feature and 2x in-sensor zoom and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP camera.

Lastly, on the battery front, this phone is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for an 80W SUPERVOOC charger.
