Motorola launched the Moto G85 5G last week in the Indian smartphone market. The smartphone comes in the budget segment and competes with the offerings from Redmi, Realme, iQOO, Samsung, and others. Some of the highlights of the device include a 10-bit 144Hz display, 50MP dual cameras, and a Snapdragon chipset. Starting today, the device can be purchased online. Motorola Moto G85 5G first sale: Price, offers, and availability

The Motorola Moto G85 5G’s first sale began today at 12 PM on Flipkart. The smartphone can now be purchased on Flipkart at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs 19,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Buyers can get a Rs 1,000 discount on Axis Bank Credit Card and Credit Card EMI transactions. Those who do not opt for the bank offer can go with a Rs 1,000 exchange discount. With any of the offers, the final starting price of the phone starts at Rs 16,999.

The smartphone has three colour options to choose from, namely, Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey, and Olive Green.

Motorola Moto G85 5G specifications and features

The Moto G85 5G features a vegan leather back. It has a 6.7-inch 3D curved edge display with an FHD+ resolution. It’s a pOLED panel with 10-bit colour, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits of peak brightness. The panel has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device also has an under-display fingerprint scanner for added security.

The device has a 32MP front camera housed in the punch-hole for clicking selfies. There’s a dual-camera system on the back with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main lens and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The main sensor has Optical Image Stabilization and Quad PDAF support. The rear camera on the phone can record 1080p videos.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It has a dynamic RAM feature to extend the total RAM on the device using the internal storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It runs on Android 14 OS and has Motorola UI features.

It has the following connectivity options: 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
