It seems like thin smartphones are a new trend. While the latest iPhone 17 Air set the benchmark with just a 5.6mm thickness, there are several other options that give tough competition to it in terms of thinness. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge measures 5.8mm, while the budget phone Tecno Pova Slim is just 5.9mm. Now, adding to it, Motorola seems to be bringing its slim phone too — the Moto Edge 70. The tipster Evan Blass has posted the latest renders of the Moto Edge 70, revealing the design. Based on the render, the Moto Edge 70 is expected to feature a squar-ish camera island housing four lime green coloured circles — three for cameras and one for the LED. The colour is in sync with the side button, which we have seen in some previously leaked images. Also Read: Don’t Buy The iPhone 17 In India Before Checking These 5 Cheaper Countries
The rear panel seems to offer a glass back in a green colour with the usual leather panel that we have seen on several Motorola phones. However, there could be more colour options. Apart from these, the phone is rumoured to have a new AI key, which could be a shortcut button to access AI features by Motorola. Another notable change is the flat display, while the previous generations of the Edge series have featured curved displays so far.
Coming back to the thinness factor, some reports hint that the upcoming Moto Edge 70 could be the slimmest phone by the company. The teaser poster also reads, “Impossibly Thin and Incredibly Tough.” It predecessor, the Moto Edge 60, measures 7.9mm in thickness. Now, the Edge 70 is tipped to be around 7mm or even less.
However, the final details about the specifications and price will be revealed when we get the official launch.
