Motorola is all set to launch a new entry-level ‘E’ series in the Indian market. In a report published by MySmartPrice, it has been mentioned that the Indian variant of Moto E15 has appeared on the BIS certification (Bureau of India Standard). The latest smartphone will carry a model number XT2523-9. Keeping the model number aside, all other specifications and features of the smartphone are still under wraps.
Another report by 91Mobiles suggested that the Global variant of the device will carry the XT2523-7 model number in the TDRA certification. It has also been confirmed that the device mentioned in the certification is a Moto E15. On other certifications where we got to see the device have mentioned that the smartphone will be powered by a 5100mAh battery along with 10W fast charging support.
Keeping things in mind, it can be said that the Moto E15 will bring a decent battery life but fully fueling up the smartphone will take multiple hours because of the low charging capacity. The smartphone also made it to the FCC certification carrying XT-2523-2 and XT-2523-8 model numbers. It has been stated that Motorola will be dropping the smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity. All other information related to the device is still under wraps. There are chances that we will get to know more about the device once the release date is announced officially.
Talking about its predecessor, the Moto E14 was launched in June 2024 with a UniSoC T606 processor, 90H refresh rate, 6.56-inch display, and a lot more. The device was based on the Android 14 Go operating system, a 13MP primary rear sensor, a 5MP front snapper for selfies, a 5000mAh battery, and 15W fast charging support. We can at least expect to see a better processor than that in the upcoming Moto E15.
