Honor has expanded its lineup of foldable smartphones in China. The company has launched the Honor Magic V Flip 2 in its home country on Thursday. The clamshell foldable phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and features a 200MP main camera. Here’s everything you need to know about the Honor Magic V Flip 2.
The Honor Magic V Flip 2 sports a 6.82-inch full-HD+ (1,232 x 2,868 pixels) LTPO OLED foldable display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The phone also features a 4-inch LTPO OLED cover screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3600 nits peak brightness.
Internally, the Honor Magic V Flip 2 runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For photography, the Magic V Flip 2 gets a 200MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. The inner display houses a 50MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout. Both camera units support 4K video recording.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic V Flip 2 houses a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It comes with IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Honor Magic V Flip 2 runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0.1 out of the box.
Honor Magic V Flip 2 has been launched in China with a price tag of CNY 5,499 (approx. Rs 66,900) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, CNY 5,999 (around Rs 73,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option, CNY 6,499 (around Rs 79,100) for the 12GB RAM + 1TB storage model, and CNY 7,499 (approx. Rs 91,300) for the high-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage option.
The Magic V Flip 2 comes in four colourways – Moon Shadow White, Dreamweaver Blue, Dawn Purple, and Titanium Sky Grey. It is available for pre-order in China through the Honor e-store and select e-commerce platforms.
