HMD Global has launched a new 5G smartphone – the HMD Vibe 5G – in India. The budget smartphone comes with a one-year replacement guarantee. The HMD Vibe 5G carries a price tag of Rs 11,999 in India. It is currently available with a special festive price of Rs 8,999. The device can be purchased through the HMD India website and select e-commerce platforms and offline retailers. The HMD Vibe 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch HD+ (720 x 1,604 pixels) IPS LCD display with 2.5D curvature and 90Hz refresh rate. Internally, the device runs on UNISOC T760 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The Vibe 5G supports up to 4GB virtual RAM. It also comes with a storage expansion slot that supports up to 512GB microSD card.

For photography, the HMD Vibe 5G features a dual rear camera system. It includes a 50MP AI main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the HMD smartphone gets an 8MP selfie shooter.

The HMD Vibe 5G draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It boots stock Android 15 for a cleaner, bloat-free user experience. HMD promises quarterly security updates for 2 years with the device. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and Bluetooth 5.2.
