HMD has introduced a new phone – HMD Touch 4G – which is difficult to term as either a smartphone as well as a feature phone. While makers call it a hybrid phone, which combines some elements of a smartphone into a feature phone. Available in the Indian markets, the HMD Touch 4G features a compact touchscreen along with some important elements — video calling support, cloud storage apps access, and a camera at the back. HMD Touch 4G Specifications And Features
The HMD Touch 4G features a 3.2-inch touchscreen with 2.5D cover glass and weighs just 100g. It also gets an IP52 rating against dust and water splash. Under the hood, it packs an Unisoc T127 chipset with internal storage of 128MB and 64MB RAM. While you can extend it up to 32GB with microSD card support. The battery is 1950mAh, which promises to offer up to 30 hours of battery life. For charging, it has a standard Type-C port.
It also got basic camera sets. At the back, it has a 2MP camera, while the front has a 0.3MP selfie camera. The rear has a circular camera module housing the single lens and the LED. The phone runs on a custom lightweight real-time operating system (RTOS) called RTOS Touch. Interestingly, it comes with pre-installed apps such as the Express Chat app for text and voice messages. It also lets you chat with Android and iOS users.

The HMD Touch 4G comes in 64MB + 128MP storage options at a starting price of Rs 3,999. It will be available from October 7th via online and offline stores in India. You can find it in two colour options — Cyan and Dark Blue.
