Acer has launched TravelLite Essential series of budget laptops in India. The lineup includes laptops come with both Intel Core and AMD Ryzen CPU options. The Acer TravelLite Essential series sports an aluminium build, making it durable and lightweight. The laptops are also equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard. The Acer TravelLite Essential series laptops sport a 14-inch full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) IPS anti-glare display, offering 250 nits of peak brightness and an 82% screen-to-body ratio. The TravelLite Essential lineup is powered by either a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1334U or an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U CPU, paired with integrated graphics processor. The laptops pack up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM along with up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 SSD storage. The Acer TravelLite Essential series features an HD webcam and a built-in privacy shutter.

The laptops are backed by a three-cell 36Wh Li-ion battery, which is claimed to offer up to 8.5 hours of usage on a single charge. The TravelLite Essential series is equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard and dual 2W stereo speakers. It supports trusted platform module (TPM) 2.0. The laptops run Windows 11 Home.

The laptops come with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. In terms of ports, the TravelLite Essential series features USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C ports, HDMI 1.4, RJ45 LAN port, headphone+mic combo jack, and a microSD card reader. The laptops weigh around 1.34 kg and feature an aluminium finish.

The Acer TravelLite Essential starts at Rs 32,999 in India for the base model with AMD Ryzen 5-7430U CPU, 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, and 512GB SSD storage. The series is available in a single Obsidian Black colourway. It will be sold via the Acer online store, Acer Exclusive Stores, and Acer authorised resellers.
