iPhone hacks: One of iPhone’s most defining features is its Face ID feature. For the unversed, this feature lets users unlock their iPhones by scanning their faces. To set up this feature, iPhone users need to scan their faces without wearing any glasses, head gear or face mask. But what if you want to unlock your iPhone when you are at a place when you can’t take your mask off, or you don’t want to take your glasses off?

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Head to ‘Face ID & Passcode’ in your iPhone’s settings.

Step 3: Key in your passcode to go ahead.

Step 4: Look for ‘Face ID with Mask’ option.

Step 5: Toggle the ‘Face ID with Mask’ button on and you’re done.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Head to ‘Face ID & Passcode’ in your iPhone’s settings.

Step 3: Key in your passcode to go ahead.

Step 4: Now tap the Glasses option to access the settings.

Step 5: Tap the Continue button to start the setup process.

Step 6: Now tap the ‘Setup it up Again’ option.

Step 7: Take a 360-degree scan of your Face with your mask and glasses on.

Step 8: Tap the Done button.

But there is a catch!

While these steps are simple to follow, there is one thing you must remember. Face ID with mask and Face ID with mask and glasses feature works only on iPhone 12 and newer iPhone models. This means that if you are stuck with iPhone XR like I am, you cannot use this feature. Also, users need iPhones running the iOS 15.4 or newer iPhone models for this feature to work.
