Google Maps has revolutionized our lives in many ways since its launch in 2005. It has transformed our travel experience in terms of how we navigate, explore, and interact with the world around us. It has always helped people get from point A to point B in the easiest way possible.
Google keeps on updating its Maps with several new features that can enhance our experience with the maps. There are several real-time tools that reflect real-time contributions on the maps so you can stay even more informed when you’re behind the wheel. One of the interesting features of Google Maps is that you can report driving incidents and report a road closure during a crisis on Google Maps.
STEP1: Start a journey and enter a destination in the search box in Google Maps
STEP2: Next, tap on the Directions option before getting on your way.
STEP3: If you are facing a problem along your way and it is not documented, then make sure you are adhering to the rules of the road
STEP4: Now tap on the report icon on the right side of the map
STEP5: Now choose between options given, including crash, congestion, road works, lane closure, a stalled vehicle, and an object on the road.
STEP6: Google Maps will now automatically add the incident to the map.
STEP7: Tap on the confirm option. You can also cancel it if you have reported any wrong incident.
STEP1: Firstly, open Google Maps on your smartphone.
STEP2: Now tap on ‘Explore’ option in the menu.
STEP3: Go to the ‘Crisis’ option.
STEP4: Now click on the ‘Report Road Closure’ option.
STEP5: Tap on the road you want to report as closed.
STEP6: Tap on Next
STEP7: You can also fill in any extra information about the closure
STEP8: Now tap on the send button.
