
Meta recently introduced the new Imagine feature on WhatsApp, which allows users to generate images. Imagine is nothing but a Meta AI tool that lets you not only create images, but also make customized GIFs. However, users need to be on the latest version of the app to do so. In this quick guide, we will show you how you can create customized GIFs on WhatsApp using Meta’s AI tool in seconds.
Before you follow the steps below, make sure that the WhatsApp on your device is updated to the latest version. That is because Imagine is a new Meta AI feature available in the latest version of the app. Once you are on the latest version of the app, follow the guide below.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android or iOS smartphone.
Step 2: Open the chat to which you want to send a GIF made using Meta AI.
Step 3: Now, tap on the attachment icon, which should be a paper clip on Android and a ‘+’ icon on iOS.
Step 4: You should now see all the attachment options. At the very end, there should be the new Imagine option. Tap on it.
Step 5: Now, the Imagine feature will let you enter a prompt. Just enter the idea that you have in mind about the custom GIF you want to create.
Step 6: Once you are done, tap on the arrow to confirm.
Step 7: You should now see an Animate option. Tap on it to Animate it, which is how the image will turn into a GIF.
Step 8: Lastly, tap on send.
