5. Apart from this, you can turn location history on or off by going to the option of Only a Certain Device and clicking on this device or device on this account.

How to delete location history?

1. To delete location history from Google Maps, you have to go to the timeline of Google Maps.
2. Here you will see all the location history.
3. You can select them and delete all.
4. After this, you will not see any history in Google Maps linked to your account.

While deleting the history of Google Maps, you can also select to automatically delete all the history older than 3 months, 18 months or 36 months. When the location history of Google Maps is deleted, you will not get recommendations.
