Prince of Persia fans, it’s time to rejoice as there’s another game that you can play soon. Dubbed The Rogue Prince of Persia, Ubisoft’s next game is for PC players and will be available via Steam. It is a roguelite title with cartoony graphics similar to the likes of Dead Cells. The game’s announcement comes almost three months after Ubisoft launched The Lost Crown for consoles.
The Rogue Prince of Persia is developed by Evil Empire, the same developer as Dead Cells. That said, we can expect a good 2D game in coming. While Evil Empire is an Indie developer, Ubisoft is publishing it. A new 2-minute 30-second trailer was released to reveal the gameplay. And we can say, we are all in for this one.

There’s no surprise that you’d play as the Prince of Persia in the game. Here, the prince is equipped with a mystical device that lets him resurrect after death. As you run through as the Prince, you will meet several enemies that stop you from progressing. Some come behind you, while others throw arrows at you. If you die, you can always restart.
In the game, you will fight against a Hun army corrupted by dark shamanic magic and find your place in the royal family. It will be a puzzling title, so you will have to use your intellect to progress.
As it is with all roguelite games, you will be able to collect some items such as weapons in this case. You will get several weapons to choose such as axes, twin daggers, broadswords, spears, and more.
The Rogue Prince of Persia will be available for PC players via Steam on May 14. That’s 4 weeks from now. The game is already listed on Steam and you can add it to your wishlist.
