Krafton is all set to expand the PUBG Universe in the next five years. As of now, the franchise is working on four different IPs. And the best part is that all four projects are pretty distinct from each other. Out of all, Krafton is setting up the stage to bring a smartphone game as well that will be aimed to cater the young audience. Moving forward in this article, we will talk about the four games and share the available details.
The four games that will be introduced by Krafton in the coming years are Black Budget, Valor, Blindspot (ARC), and an unannounced smartphone project named Hybrid Casual. Starting with Black Budget, it is going to be an extraction shooter for PC. Valor is going to be a battle royale offering for the console players. Blindspot (ARC) is going to be a tactical shooter for PC and the last one that has not been named until now is going to be a high-quality gameplay title for smartphones.
With the new smartphone game on the cards, Krafton will be primarily targeting the younger audience by delivering an easily adaptable style of play. Now, keeping in mind that Krafton has some of the best and most popular IPs on smartphones, only one more addition to the genre looks like a major transition in the future focus.
For example, PUBG has failed to make a mark on PC and consoles. So, maybe with new IPs, Krafton is trying to garner a decent amount of audience on PC and console as well. That being said we already know that the primary PUBG Mobile is not going anywhere and will keep getting amazing updates on the same. There are chances that the new upcoming game by Krafton will be able to make a mark in the industry.
