PUBG Mobile 3.2 update is live on Android and iOS. The latest update brings several new changes including the Mecha Fusion mode, a new themed mode that brings a new battle vehicle for players called Armamech. Additionally, the update adds new in-game items like Jetpack for better mobility, Magnet Gun, and more. There are also some updates to Metro Royale and World of Wonder. Let’s take a look at everything new in the update and how you can install it now.
Mecha fusion mode
The Mecha fusion mode in the latest PUBG Mobile 3.2 update brings Steel Ark where players can summon an Armamech battle vehicle.
What is SteelArk? It’s a futuristic-style ship containing loads of supplies. Several Seel Arks will appear on the map. Players can get supplies from the usual drops in the game and then head towards the Steel Ark. Players can get some rare supplies on Steel Ark and summon a battle vehicle in the mode called Armamech.
What’s Armamech? Armamech is a full-fledged battle vehicle that two players can combine and form. To form an Armamech, players need to equip two different mechas – Levitron and Srider. Two of these mechas can be combined into an Armamech when near each other. After merging, the player that controls Levitron becomes the pilot of the Armamech.
As for their individual abilities, the Levitron is a special vehicle that can switch between speed form and magnetic form. The former form gets you collision acceleration ability and in the magnetic form, you can activate the magnetic arm to attack.
The strider, on the other hand, is a lower-body component. It is an offensive two-seater vehicle, meaning two players can sit on it and attack other enemies. The strider can launch missiles at designated areas.
The update also brings an assembly base for players to get supplies for their mechas. This assembly base will be somewhere near the Steel Ark so players can not only get supplies for their mechas but also replenish mecha’s health/fuel and repair it.
Legendary Pilot Challenge
Apart from this, the update also adds a Legendary Pilot Challenge, which includes difficult challenge missions that can get you special cosmetics for themed items and vehicles. Players completing this challenge can also unlock other rewards such as a dance mode.
New items – Jetpack, Magnet Gun, more
PUBG Mobile gets a jetpack as an item with the new update. Players can equip a jetpack to move around on the map. It also brings a Personal AED item that will recover you from a knocked-down stage. Further, it adds a Magnet Gun that can pull/grab a player or vehicle. The update also brings the Respawn Beacon feature that will recall eliminated teammates. The feature will appear in only Steel Ark and Assembly Base.
Other updates
Other than this, there are some other additions with the new update such as the Popularity Event, where players can use tokens earned from popularity battles to redeem rewards. PUBG has also updated the Metro Royal. It now has Honor rewards and collectibles for Chapter 20. Players can also bring their companions in the mode.
PUBG Mobile 3.2 update also brings Home Building competition and Elegant Ancient capital resource pack. Lastly, there are some updates to World of Wonder.
To update to the 3.2 version, you can head to the Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS and search for the game. From the results, open PUBG Mobile and you should see a new update, tap on update to update the game.
