The hype around Grand Theft Auto 6 is real, and new leaks keep floating around. But a new leak has suggested that the game could have more than 700 stores, hundreds of malls, and even skyscrapers with working elevators. This now elevates the franchise and gives us a rough idea of the large city and what to expect. The latest leak comes from GameRoll, the same tipster who previously nailed the names of GTA 6’s protagonists, Jason and Lucia, even before Rockstar confirmed them. This time, GameRoll claims that players will be able to enter more than 700 stores across the map. Additionally, hundreds of malls will be there as well, suggesting a level of world interactivity we’ve never seen in a Rockstar game. The new leaks also claim that even skyscrapers might have functional elevators. This adds to the exploration aspect of the open-world game and gives fans something they’ve been asking for a long time. Also Read: Will GTA 6 Trailer 3 Arrive This December? Here’s What Fans Think

The leak also further adds that there will be 5 chapters, and a Red Dead Redemption 2-style weapon wheel can be expected too. The game might also feature a three-way character system. Players will be able to play as Jason, Lucia, or both together, with the ability to switch perspectives.
However, the dynamic cover system seen in earlier leaked footage has reportedly been scrapped. Instead, GTA 6 will stick to the classic GTA V-style button-activated cover mechanics.
The game is now slated for a May 26, 2026 release, pushed back from its original 2025 release window. Rockstar has also remained silent since the drop of their second trailer, which revealed the names of the two main characters and showed off the graphical improvements.
