PS5 DualSense Multi-Device Feature Guide: Switch Between PS5, PC, Mac, and Mobile Easily

Sony has finally rolled out a new update, giving DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers a new ability that will allow seamless connectivity to multiple devices. Under this new update, players can now connect multiple devices to both their controllers. To recall, previously, users had to re-pair the controller every time they switched between a PS5, PC, or mobile device.

With this new update, the PS5 controllers will now remember up to four devices, allowing you to easily switch with simple button combinations.

Step 1: The first step is to prepare your controller, and hence, you need to make sure that your controller is not actively connected to any device.

Step 2: Now, you have to hold down the PS5 button till the time when light bar, along with the player indicator, turns off.

Step 3: The next step is to remove any USB cables because the pairing of controllers will only work wirelessly over Bluetooth.

Step 4: Each devices are linked to an action button that is a Triangle, Circle, Cross, or Square in shape. Now, you have to decide which will correspond to which button.

Step 5: Registering the device is an essential part of the process, and for this, you need to hold the PS5 button along with the action button. Hold the buttons for 5 seconds.

Step 6: As soon as the light bar starts flashing, turn on Bluetooth and select DualSene controller on your target device, whether a PC, Mac, or your smartphone.

Step 7: Repeat the same procedure for your other devices, assigning each to a different action button.

Step 8: Now you can easily switch devices, and for this, you just have to turn on the device you want to use and then hold the PS5 button along with the corresponding action button.
