Fallout is coming to Fortnite: Here's what to expect

Epic Games has officially confirmed that Fallout is coming to Fortnite. Owing to this collaboration, we are expected to see Fallout characters and themed skins in the game in the next season of Fortnite. However, not everything is sure as more details are yet to emerge. The announcement comes a month after the release of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout series. It broke records to become one of the most popular shows on Prime and also served some justice to the fans. Let’s see when can Fallout fans see the crossover into action.

Fallout arrives in the next season of Fortnite: Here’s what we know

Epic Games on X confirmed that the Fallout crossover is happening. Immediately after Epic’s confirmation, Fallout’s official X handle affirmed the same. As per the promo image shared, it appears that we will be getting a T-60 armor set. It’s unclear what we will exactly get to see in the game apart from the armor, whether it will be the characters from the newly released Fallout series or games or both.

Speculations are that we might see the T-60 character, Lucy, and The Ghoul. That’s because the Amazon Prime series is still fresh and Epic doesn’t want to miss that opportunity. Apart from the characters, we might as well see some updates to the island. We won’t be surprised to see Fallout shelters in the game as this will be a big crossover.

Unfortunately, Microsoft and Bethesda weren’t ready for such a scale of response for the Fallout series. Or else, they would be prepared with a new Fallout game. That doesn’t seem to happen anytime soon as Bethesda is working on The Elder Scrolls 6. But at least, Fallout fans will get some justice with the Epic collaboration. Although, they would now have to play Fortnite.

Fallout and Fortnite’s crossover should be seen in the next season of Fortnite – Season 3, Chapter 5, which is called “Wrecked.” That title suits the Fallout series, so expect big things to happen in the next season. Wrecked should go live on May 24, which is not too far away.

Since very few details are available right now, we cannot delve into the exact output that the crossover will bring, apart from the ones speculated above. Nonetheless, we should learn more next weekend.
