PlayStation Plus members have a treat in store for them this July as Sony introduces some big-name games to its Game Catalog lineup. The biggest of these is Cyberpunk 2077, which can now be played from July 9. Abiotic Factor, a survival adventure, and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, an emotional action-RPG, are also part of the lineup. These additions are part of PlayStation Plus’ 15th anniversary celebration.
Cyberpunk 2077, the open-world RPG from CD Projekt Red (makers of The Witcher 3), lets players step into the shoes of V — a cyber-enhanced mercenary roaming the neon-lit streets of Night City. The game offers full character customisation, deep role-playing mechanics, and a branching storyline shaped by your choices. As a bonus, PlayStation Plus members can also enjoy a 30% discount on the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion. This offer is valid from July 9 to July 23.
On July 15, more games will be added to the Game Catalog, including Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. This story-rich action-RPG follows ghost-hunting couple Antea and Red in 17th-century North America, as they grapple with love, sacrifice, and the supernatural.
Classic fans can also look forward to the return of Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4, which will be available for PlayStation Plus Premium members starting the same day.
Abiotic Factor, a co-op survival and crafting game, will join the lineup on July 22. In this title, players team up as scientists trying to survive an interdimensional crisis deep within an underground research facility. With up to five players, it combines teamwork, resource gathering, and strategic defense.
This new lineup follows the earlier removal of Grand Theft Auto V and other titles from the Game Catalog. But with high-profile additions like Cyberpunk 2077, Sony is clearly raising the bar for its subscription service in July.
