The festive season in India is always a race between Amazon and Flipkart, but this year, another challenger is entering the arena. Swiggy’s quick-commerce arm, Instamart, has announced its first-ever large-scale sale called the Quick India Movement, which will run from September 19 to 28, 2025. For the first time, a 10-minute delivery platform is taking on the giants of e-commerce during the most competitive shopping period of the year.
Festivals are all about gifts, family get-togethers, and indulgence, and Instamart is aiming to be at the heart of this shopping wave. The Quick India Movement promises 50% to 90% discounts across thousands of items, ranging from electronics and home appliances to toys, fashion, beauty, personal care, and everyday essentials.
The standout feature is the promise of delivery in as little as 10 minutes in select cities, making it the quickest way to stock up on festive needs without the long wait associated with traditional online shopping.
Instamart is also betting on popular names to draw in buyers. Products from Apple’s iPhone 17, OnePlus, Oppo, boAt, Philips, JBL, Nestasia, L’Oréal Paris, Barbie, LEGO, Dove, and D’Decor will all be up for grabs at slashed prices.
In addition, Instamart has partnered with Axis Bank to provide shoppers with an extra 10% instant discount (up to Rs 1,000) on credit card payments, making the deals even sweeter.
What makes this sale significant is its timing. The event will roll out just before Flipkart’s Big Billion Days and Amazon’s Great Indian Festival, both of which dominate India’s e-commerce scene.
With over 50,000 products on offer, instant deliveries, and aggressive discounts, Instamart’s Quick India Movement is more than just a sale. It shows how quick-commerce platforms are evolving to meet India’s growing appetite for convenience, speed, and variety during the most celebrated time of the year.
