WhatsApp has introduced a new feature on its platform Message Transcripts. The feature will now allow users to read the transcription of the voice messages. Many times it happens that our loved ones send us a voice note but when those voice notes are longer and when you are on the move, or you are in a noisy place, you tend to find it exhausting to stop and listen to it. In order to overcome this exhausting process, the instant messaging giant has come up with a solution where users can now read the messages that their loved ones are sending in the voice notes. One of the most distinctive feature of this update is that they will be transcripts will be generated on your device and no one will be able to read them, not even WhatsApp. The company in its blog post says that the transcription of your voice notes will not be read or hear even by the WhatsApp. Also Read: Now Apply For Delhi Govt Documents In WhatsApp Chat, No Office Visit Needed

STEP2: Now go to the settings.
STEP3: Click on the Chat option
STEP4: The go to the Voice message transcripts.
STEP5: After clicking on the Voice message transcripts, you will be able to easily turn transcriptions on or off.
STEP6: In addition, you can also select your transcript language.
STEP7: You can also transcribe a voice message by long pressing on the message and tapping on ‘transcribe’.
The feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks with few selected languages.

STEP1: To see voice message transcripts, first you have to enable the feature or transcripts on your device.
STEP2: Now tap and hold a voice message, then tap Transcribe
STEP3: Now tap on the drop down button in the voice message to reveal more of the transcription.
