In a report published by The Verge, it has been revealed that multiple changes on Telegram are already active. For example, users can spot a new section in the Telegram FAQ saying ‘There is illegal content on Telegram. How do I take it down?’
As for the telegram founder’s arrest, the French authorities have announced that the platform is being used to share explicit content related to children. And Telegram is also the home for a lot of pirated content along with channels that openly let users create inappropriate deepfakes.
Whatever happens from now on, we can expect that most of the illegal activities that are being conducted on the platform will come to a halt after all that is happening right now. Furthermore, the moderators of the platform will indulge in serious content removal and even channel removal once things are flagged by any user.
