Google is dropping new video editing tools in the Google Photos application that will be backed with AI features. The main focus of these features is to provide a better and simpler editing interface to the users. Some of the upgrades that we will get to see in the latest Google Photo update are that the buttons like Mute, Enhance, and Stabilize will be swapped by larger buttons for better convenience for the users. Apart from that, Google is also releasing AI-powered video presets for Android and iOS devices. These presets are created to help the creators automatically trim the videos, adjust lighting, apply effects like zooming, and motion tracking, use slow motion, or even control playback speed with a few taps. Google Photos is getting three new tools for making video editing super easy and enhanced on the platform – Trim tool, auto enhance tool, and New Speed Tool. The trim tool by Google has been overhauled and now it offers better controls along with the ability to precisely cut the footage. Also Read: Free Apps Worth Installing on Every Phone
As for Auto Enhance, users will now be able to boost the colors and stabilize the video for better video output. With the New Speed Tool, the users will be able to produce dramatic slow-motion effects or even speed up the reactions in a video.
As of now, the updates have not been rolled out for all the users. If you are one of those who didn’t get the update then waiting for a while will be the best option as the mass rollout for the updates has already started.
