Xiaomi is marking its big step towards the ‘Make In India’ commitment and has officially launched its first-ever Made-In-India smartwatch dubbed Redmi Watch Move. The tech giant aims to strengthen its foothold in India as part of the Make in India initiative. Xiaomi aims at the growing wearable market in India, catering to several users looking for affordable yet stylish smartwatch tech. The newly launched Redmi Watch Move not just comes with an attractive price, but also blends local manufacturing along with global design.

Redmi Watch Move is priced at Rs 1,999  and is available in four color options including Black Drift, Blue Blaze, Silver Sprint, and Gold Rush. The pre-booking of the smartwatch will start from 24 April 2025. In addition, the sale of Redmi Watch Move will start from 1 May 2025.

Redmi Watch Move Specifications:

Redmi Watch Move features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with up to 600 nits of brightness and a 2.5D curved design. The smartwatch is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance along with support of Bluetooth calling. It includes over 140 workout modes. It is powered by the Xiaomi’s R&D.

The company has equipped this smartwatch with health tracking features including heart rate, SpO₂, stress, sleep (including REM), and menstrual cycle monitoring . It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS. Redmi Watch Move supports Hindi language, sends weather updates, and task management.
