The successful payments and active premium accounts are shared on X (formerly Twitter) by several users, hence created curiosity among streaming fans. Although the offer has not been officially announced by both Jio and Disney+ Hotstar, this seems to be some kind of pilot or internal test that will be offered to a few users.

What the Re 1 JioHotstar Premium Plan Includes

Users who have unlocked the Re 1 plan claim that it provides all the conventional Premium benefits. This comes with ad-free movie, show, and sports streaming, as well as with 4K video playback with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos playback. Offer Details and Trial Period

Based on screenshots circulating online, users can choose between a 3-month or an annual subscription for Re 1, but the trial is valid for 30 days only. After the trial period ends, the full subscription amount becomes applicable depending on the plan chosen.

How to Check Your Eligibility

1. The first step is to open or download the JioHotstar app on your browser or your device
2. Now, you have to log in with your phone number that doesn’t already have an active subscription.
3. The next step is to tap the ‘My Space’ icon.
4. Now, select ‘Subscribe’ to view available plans.
5. If the Re 1 Premium plan is visible, complete the payment using UPI, card, or wallet. Activation is instant for eligible users.
