These days multimedia experience has become really crucial as most people prefer staying at home and enjoying movies and web series. This makes the importance of a good speaker setup even more important so that the viewer gets the best experience. People often resort to using soundbars and mini party speakers to enhance their sound output. On the other hand, the audiophiles might go for a grand home theatre setup to hear each and every vocal and feel the background music. But both these setups are not ideal as home theatre requires a lot of space and small speakers don’t do justice to the grand sound effects and background score of films.

But, what if I tell you that you can get the best of both worlds? This is where the Xscace Cane Slim Array speakers make their entry. At first glance, they may look like any other ordinary speakers as they are small in size. But don’t let its compact frame fool you. With four custom woofers and a dedicated Acacia 10 subwoofer, this speaker setup packs some incredible sound that feels far bigger than its size.

But is it really the perfect balance of style, size, and sound? Let’s dive in.

Xscace Cane Design and Build

The Xscace Cane has been designed with simplicity in mind. At just 7.2 inches in height and a slim 1.6-inch width, it looks so minimal and aesthetically pleasing that it adds to the overall look and feel of your room. It is also well-built and made of aerospace aluminum housing, giving the speaker a sturdy, premium feel, while the matte finish combined with a champagne-gold tint adds a touch of elegance. It’s meant for people who want sophistication in their space without a bulky home theatre dominating the setup. The slim profile lets it blend effortlessly into modern minimalist decor.

My setup also came with an Acacia 10 subwoofer and an air amplifier. The subwoofer looks very slim and minimal in an all-black design. Along with this, there is also an air amplifier that acts like a hub control for everything and has a small dial to adjust the volume levels. Together, the system feels compact yet complete.

Xscace Cane Specifications

Talking about some specifications, the Xscace Cane packs four custom woofers inside its compact frame. These woofers come with an impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 94 ± 3 dB, delivering frequencies between 150 Hz and 20 kHz. The speakers have a 50W output which may not sound like much on paper, but the sound they produce can easily fill up a large room. The speaker also comes in multiple colors like Matte Champagne, Anthracite, and White, with custom colours and finishes available upon request. They also ship with a corner mount accessory for mounting, but thanks to the small form factor, they’re perfect to place on a TV unit or even above a small cabinet.

Coming to the subwoofer, the Acacia 10 subwoofer brings serious depth with its 200-watt output and a large 10-inch driver. It measures 15 inches in height and width, with a depth of 5.75 inches in its passive version and 7.75 inches in its powered form. It is built with premium wood housing and is rated at 4 ohms impedance with a sensitivity of 94 ± 3 dB delivering frequencies between 35 Hz and 300 Hz. It also comes in both in-wall and on-wall versions, giving flexibility depending on how you want your setup to look.

Xscace Cane Connectivity

Before we hop on to the sound quality, let’s check out some connectivity options. The Cane Slim Array can be controlled through the 4Stream app. This app is really clean and minimal, and you don’t need to sign in or go through unnecessary steps. It instantly detects the speaker as long as you’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Once paired, streaming is seamless. It also supports Bluetooth 5.2, AUX-in, and optical input, so you can easily hook it up with your TV and enjoy movies without any fuss.

The app supports almost every major music service you can think of, from Spotify, Amazon Music, Shazam, and more. The only notable omission is YouTube Music, which feels like a miss considering how popular it has become. Hopefully, a future update fixes this, but for now, you can connect via Bluetooth and stream your playlists directly from YT Music. That said, apart from this small miss, the connectivity is fast, stable, and hassle-free.

Xscace Cane Sound Quality

This is where the Cane Slim Array truly shines. Despite its slim build, the four 1.25-inch custom woofers pack a serious punch. The sound output is rated at 50W, but the real surprise is how full and room-filling it actually feels. The speaker delivers exceptional instrument separation, letting you pick up subtle details in tracks that usually get lost on other mid-range speakers. Trebles come out crisp without being harsh, and the mids stay clean and balanced. During one instance, when I played some old qawali songs that sounded too low on my TV speakers, the Xscace brought them to life with depth and clarity.

The addition of the Acacia 10 subwoofer adds another layer to the sound experience. The bass is tight, controlled, and never overpowering. Instead of just being loud, it makes the soundstage richer and more immersive.

Whether it’s jazz, heavy hip-hop or acoustic sessions, the Cane Slim Array adapts well. At higher volumes, it maintains clarity and has no distortion, while at lower levels, it still feels detailed enough for casual background listening.

Conclusion

The Xscace Cane Slim Array is a small speaker setup with a big personality. It blends sophisticated design, solid build quality, and impressive sound output into a package that fits perfectly in a modern minimal home. But, it’s clearly made for the luxury market. The whole setup of these 2 speakers with the Acacia 10 subwoofer costs around approx. Rs 2,00,000, with a single speaker priced at around Rs 50,000. This makes the speakers not very accessible for everyone and positions them towards a very particular niche.

But, if your pocket allows you and you want a speaker that blends in with your room without occupying too much space while still delivering premium audio, then this could be the one. Overall, this marvelous engineering proves that even small packages can pack incredible power.
