Nothing’s latest flagship brings a bold redesign, upgraded internals, and a new way to interact with your phone. But with a Rs 79,999 price tag, here is how it differs from the Nothing Phone 2.
The Phone (3) ditches symmetry for a bold camera bump and a Glyph Matrix on the back. The new Glyph Matrix is a 25x25 LED grid that shows timers, animations, weather info, and mini-games like spin the bottle with the Glyph button. On the other hand, the Nothing Phone 2 carries Glyph LED light strips which are also customizable with ringtones, notifications, and music.
While both have 6.7-inch AMOLED screens, Phone (3)’s panel is significantly brighter — peaking at 4500 nits versus Phone (2)’s 1600 nits.
The Phone (2) used the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The Phone (3) steps up to Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, but not the most powerful chip in the flagship series.
Nothing boosts the battery from 4700mAh (Phone 2) to 5500mAh (Phone 3), and charging speeds go from 45W to 65W wired. Both support 15W wireless and 5W reverse charging.
At Rs 79,999 for 12GB/256GB and Rs 89,999 for 16GB/512GB, the Phone 3 sets itself in premium range. It must be noted that the Nothing Phone 2 was launched at a starting price of Rs 44,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.
