Bigger battery, slightly thicker
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is tipped to get a 5,000mAh battery, the largest ever on an iPhone. That’s an upgrade from the 4,676mAh cell on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, it may also become slightly thicker, increasing from 8.25mm to 8.75mm.

Selfie camera upgrade
The new iPhones could feature a 24MP front camera, up from 12MP on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Better selfies and clearer video calls are expected, with support for 2x cropping without losing quality.
