Color variants and Display
Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus have five color variants including Aquamarine, Pink, Teal, Black, and White. The smartphones get an aerospace-grade aluminum body that makes them 50% tougher than the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. The iPhone 16 ships with a 6.1-inch display and the Plus variants include a 6.7-inch display.
Processor
The A18 processors offered in the smartphones have 2x faster machine learning capabilities along with being smaller than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. As claimed by Apple. The processing speed of the Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus is claimed to be 30 faster than the variants from the iPhone 15 series.
Apple Intelligence
The devices are also getting Apple Intelligence feature which is something all the users wanted to see. Some of the features are mail management, AI image creation with image playground, emoji creation, and more.
Siri is getting a makeover
Apart from that, Siri is also getting a makeover as it will now guide users with on-screen awareness integration and understanding of personal context. Users will also be able to easily find their photos by just typing a loose photo description.

Apple has also introduced Visual Intelligence features, which allow users to click and hold the camera and point at anything to get details about it. The feature is quite identical to Google's lens.
Gaming performance
To deliver a better gaming performance, the smartphones come with an updated logic board that delivers enhanced heat dissipation. They will support ray tracing and hardware acceleration. Both phones will be able to run a few AAA titles seamlessly with the new tech in action.
Camera
The iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Plus sport a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP Fusion camera and a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera. A major highlight here is that the primary sensor also doubles up as a telephoto sensor with 2X zoom. Moreover, the ultra-wide sensor can also do the work of a macro sensor, capturing 2.6x more light.
Battery
Last but not least, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus offer efficient battery. However, as always, Apple has not revealed the battery capacity.
