Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event of the year is set for July 9, 2025, live from Brooklyn, New York. Ahead of the launch, the leaks and rumours are spicing up the excitement. Fans and tech enthusiasts are expecting to see the official launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Watch 8 series, and maybe a few surprises by the tech giant.

Galaxy Unpacked: When can you watch it?

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will go live at 7:30 PM IST / 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 AM ET / 3:00 PM BST, and can be streamed via Samsung’s YouTube channel, Newsroom, and official website.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: What To Expect

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be the main attraction this time. Based on teasers and leaks, Samsung may be calling it the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, though it’s likely there will only be one version of the device. Rumoured upgrades include a larger 8-inch inner screen, a 6.5-inch outer display, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It may also feature a 200MP main camera, possibly borrowed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and could be Samsung’s thinnest foldable yet.

Despite all the upgrades, leaks suggest Samsung might keep the price the same as last year, around $1,899.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Flip FE: Expected Specs, Features

The Z Flip 7 is likely to see more subtle changes. Leaks point to a 6.9-inch main screen and a 4.1-inch cover screen, making the cover screen more useful for quick app access. A 4,300mAh battery could also improve battery life. There’s also talk that Samsung might use its own Exynos 2500 chip instead of a Snapdragon processor for the Flip.

Another rumour hints at a more affordable version — possibly the Galaxy Z Flip FE — though it’s unclear if it will debut at this event or later.

Galaxy Watch 8 Series: More Focus On Health?

Samsung is expected to unveil up to three smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch 8, a possible Watch 8 Classic, and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra. Along with size and design tweaks, the watches may bring new health-tracking features like cardiovascular load monitoring and an antioxidant index that assesses body stress through the skin.
