Share The budget tablet market is constantly flourishing with new options regularly. Today, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad 2 in India for those who want a tablet without spending a hefty amount. This newly introduced tablet in the sub-Rs 15,000 segment comes with a large 9,000mAh battery and also gets a bunch of AI features.

Apart from the massive battery, the Redmi Pad 2 features an 11-inch display with 2.5k resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of brightness. Moreover, it also gets wet touch technology support to let you use it even with sweaty hands. For eye protection, it gets Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications.
Powered by MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chipset, the Redmi Pad 2 runs HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. While it has a large 9,000mAh battery but it gets support of only 18W of wired charging to juice it up. For video calls and to capture essential documents, it has an 8MP camera at the back, while the front has a 5MP selfie camera.
For an audio experience, it gets a quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. And if you are someone who loves doodling, then know it supports a smart pen too. It also comes with several AI features, such as a circle to search.
How much does it cost?
As mentioned, the Redmi Pad 2 comes at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant in the Wi-Fi only option at this price. However, the Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity options can be purchased for Rs 15,999 (6GB + 128GB) and Rs 17,999 (8GB + 256GB RAM). However, you can get Rs 1000 discount with an HDFC credit card as a launch offer.
Note that the Redmi Smart Pen comes separately for Rs 3,999 and the Redmi Pad 2 Cover costs Rs 1,299.
You will be able to buy it starting June 24 from the official e-store of Xiaomi, Amazon, Flipkart, and some offline retail stores too.
