POCO is said to be working on a new tablet called the POCO Pad M1, which could arrive as the successor to last year’s POCO Pad. The upcoming device has now appeared in fresh leaks, revealing most of its key details, including the chipset, display, and expected price. According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the POCO Pad M1 will be priced at EUR 349 (around Rs 36,000) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Also Read: Top 7 Gaming Smartphones Under Rs 35,000 For Power-Packed Performance
POCO Pad M1 is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor It may feature a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the tablet is said to sport an 8MP sensor on the back and an 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies. The tablet is likely to ship with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. It may also include quad speakers, which has become common in tablets in this range.
Under the hood, the POCO Pad M1 is likely to use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, along with a microSD card slot for expanding storage. Connectivity options could include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB 2.0 port. The tablet is rumoured to measure 279.8 x 181.6 x 7.5mm and weigh roughly 610 grams. It may also come with an IP54 rating for basic protection against dust and water.
The POCO Pad M1 could pack a 12,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The POCO Pad M1 has reportedly been listed on the TDRA certification website, which hints that its launch could be just around the corner. Some reports also suggest that it might arrive as a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, already available in select international markets.
