Nothing has created incredible hype for its upcoming Phone (3), but fans are equally excited about the debut of the new Nothing Headphone (1). This marks a new chapter for the brand as it expands its audio portfolio. Now, with some fresh new leaks and NCC certification, it looks like key details about the headphones have made their way online.
The Nothing Headphone (1) was spotted online on Taiwan’s NCC certification database, carrying the model number B170. The design stays true to Nothing’s signature transparent aesthetic, blending retro cassette player vibes with a modern over-ear form factor.
We see black earcups, a rectangular outer shell, and what appears to be a transparent oval driver chamber on each cup. The unique design of these headphones makes them stand out completely from the crowd.
Some key details were also spotted, revealing that the headphones will pack a 520mAh battery along with 5W wired charging via USB-C. The Nothing Headphone (1) will also feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a physical ANC/Power toggle, giving users more accessibility to switch between modes. Additionally, the headphones will come with a built-in microphone, making it convenient for users to take calls directly from the device.
The leaked specifications don’t reveal too much just yet, but have already laid the groundwork to build more buzz around the Headphone (1). The listing further confirms that the headphones will include a USB-C cable and a 3.5mm audio jack, offering flexibility for both wired and wireless users.
More leaks reveal that Nothing is reportedly working on at least three colourways for its first headphones: Matte Black, Red Edition and a Classic Grey. These headphones will launch alongside the Nothing Phone (3), completing a new hardware ecosystem with a fresh identity.
According to earlier leaks, the Nothing Headphone (1) is expected to be priced at €299 (around Rs 29,833) in Europe. In India, however, the pricing could be significantly lower as it is a price-sensitive market. If the headphones do launch around the Rs 10,000 mark, they could pose serious competition to premium ANC headphones from the likes of Sony, Bose, and Apple.
