Motorola is gearing up for the launch of the Moto G86 5G, and it looks like this new model will pack some serious upgrades. Following the release of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, Moto seems to be on a roll and is looking to make waves with a new budget device. The Moto G86 is expected to bring improved specifications with upgrades in performance, display, and camera.
The Moto G86 5G is rumored to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved pOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Along with this, the display might reach up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and might get added durability with Corning Gorilla Glass 7 protection. Under the hood, it’s likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, ensuring snappy and efficient performance. We can expect up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with Android 15 and two years of OS updates.
On the battery side, the G86 5G is expected to come with either a 5,200mAh or 6,720mAh battery, depending on the variant. It’ll support 33W fast charging, so you’ll be up and running in no time. The device might also get MIL-STD 810H certification and an IP68 rating, ensuring it’s tough enough for any adventure. The device is expected to launch in 4 colours, including Golden, Cosmic (Light Purple), Red, and Spellbound (Blue).
On the rear, it might get a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS for those sharp, stable shots. On the front it is expected to feature a 8MP ultrawide sensor that will let you capture more in each shot. For selfies, the Moto G86 5G is said to feature a 32 MP front camera, making it perfect for social media needs.
The Moto G86 5G is expected to be priced around EUR 330 (roughly Rs. 31,200) for the base variant, though it could be more affordable when it lands in India.
