Huawei Gears Up to Launch Premium 8.8-Inch and 14.2-Inch OLED Tablets Powered by Kirin 9 Series Chips

Huawei is all set to unveil two flagship tablets with OLED displays. Shared by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the tech giant is planning to introduce tablets that are designed for delivering high-end performances. Both the upcoming tablets will be powered by the Huawei’s K9 platform.

Huawei is planning to launch two premium tablets featuring  a compact 8.8-inch tablet and more premium 14.2-inch model. Both the tablets will not be suitable for gaming, but they will be compact and easy to handle. Additionally, industry sources suggest that the company is focusing on delivering tablets with impressive battery life, with at least one upcoming model expected to offer ultra-fast charging capabilities. As per reports, the tablet could be powered by the 13000mAh battery with 100W fast charging.

Reports indicate that Huawei is exploring features like advanced biometric authentication, including 3D facial recognition, for its next wave of tablets. An earlier leak revealed that Huawei’s 8.8-inch tablet has already finalized its design, suggesting that its launch could be approaching soon. Meanwhile, a larger variant featuring 3D facial recognition technology is currently undergoing testing, indicating the brand’s focus on incorporating advanced security features into its high-end tablet lineup.

Huawei Mate X7 and the Mate XT 2:

Not just tablets, Huawei is also planning to unveil its two flagship smartphones, dubbed Mate X7 and the Mate XT 2 with premium features. It could come up with the unique triple-fold OLED screen format as seen in its predecessors. It might have a 10.2-inch display when fully unfolded. This upcoming smartphone is expected to pack the brand-new Kirin 9020hh chipset, paired with a Maleoon 920 GPU.

Other anticipated upgrades could include a slimmer and stronger “Tian Gong” hinge for durability, eSIM support, enhanced cameras, and enlarged battery. However, exact specifications and features remain under wraps, the tech giant could also unveil the Mate X7 that is expected to designed with the clamshell (book-style) folding mechanism.
