Amazfit is back with a brand-new smart wearable. This time, it is not a smartwatch but rather a health band. The Amazfit Helio Strap is a screenless smart band focused entirely on fitness and biometric data. It even comes in a limited HYROX Edition, designed in collaboration with some of the world’s top athletes. This could be a rival to the WHOOP 5.0 that focusses more on health tracking and recovery.
At first glance, the Helio Strap looks like a minimalist fitness band. But don’t go by looks alone. This band has a hidden display tucked inside the strap, keeping things discreet while still tracking everything from your heart rate to your sleep cycle.
The strap continuously monitors your vitals throughout the day, with detailed feedback delivered via the Zepp app. There’s also integration with Strava, TrainingPeaks, and Adidas Running, making it ideal for serious athletes.
One of the standout features here is the all-new BioCharge system. Amazfit says that it is an energy monitoring feature that calculates your energy levels throughout the day. Based on this, it recommends personalised training and recovery plans. This clearly targets athletes, helping them recover better and train smarter.
The Helio Strap HYROX Edition is designed specifically for HYROX Elite 15 athletes and has been developed in collaboration with some of the fittest people on the planet. This version includes HYROX Race Mode, PFT Mode, and automatic strength training detection. This makes this version a powerhouse for high-intensity fitness tracking.
On the battery side, Amazfit promises up to 10 days of battery life. This is impressive for a band doing full-time health tracking. The pricing hasn’t been revealed just yet, but the Helio Strap is already being teased across Amazfit’s social channels.
